Great for Awards at shows, or for multi-horse barns, these halter plates are a flashy way to get your message across. Award your show competitors with prizes they can really show off, while also advertising your stable or show series!
This two line halter plate comes with rivets and is engraved with two lines of text (limit 30 characters per line, including spaces). Available in gold, black, blue, red, and silver. These tags come with 8mm, 10mm, and 12mm rivets to best ensure they fit the competitor's halter.
These plates are engraved with a rotary/drag engraver which etches the letters into the metal. The letters will be silver.
We now offer a blackening service and can darken the engraved letters to a black. This is done by hand and so the blackening may not be perfectly even, although we always do our best to provide a quality hand-made product. Bigger letters tend to blacken better. This service is an additional $3 on this item.

Measurement Instructions
- Measure the thickness of the halter in millimeters.
- Add 3 millimeters to that measurement.
- choose the rivet size which is the same or slightly greater than this number.
- Example: Halter is 6mm thick. 6+3=9mm. You would choose the 10mm rivets.
It is important to measure for your halter to be sure that the rivets chosen will fit. If the rivet is much too small and forced to close, it can damage the plate. If it is too long, it will be loose.
Attachment Instructions
- Hold plate up to the surface you wish to attach to in desired position.
- Mark holes using a pencil, pen, etc. and remove plate
- Punch holes on the marks using a leather hole punch or desired device
- Align plate with newly punched holes and thread a rivet through one side
- Place cap on the other end of the rivet and gently push rivets together. A hammer can be used VERY gently if needed. It is important that the correct size rivet is used so that the plate is not pinched, or loose. A long rivet can also attach crooked.
- Repeat for other side
